A new short film will be realised at the end of June 2012 about the Euromix Garden project funded by the EU Commission. The film will be produced by Suzy Gillett and Alexandru Gherman, directed by Alessandro Alpini, DoP Debashis Remy Dalai

and edited/graded by Andrea Dutti.Prego at Euromix Gardens

This is an EU Commission project together with London Film School and Adamant Film LTD.

Euromix Garden will be a central part of The City of London Festival’s golden jubilee. In 2012 the City of London Festival will celebrate its 50th anniversary. In recent years the Festival has reinforced its international character with its ‘Trading Places’ theme, linking the City culturally and commercially with its historic partners overseas. The free events programme has endorsed these themes. The 2012 Festival will draw together into a celebration of the City of London and its relationships around the globe. As part of our free events programme, we aim to celebrate the City’s artistic and cultural connections with mainland Europe. This has resulted in the Euromix Garden, a new free outdoor programme of inter-European music collaborations: ten concerts over five days featuring artistic partnerships that span music styles and countries, but are uniquely European.

The project will take place between 25-29 June 2012.
